Solutions for autoplanning

GPS is a solution for automated planning developed by Tecnologie Avanzate in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino and Università degli Studi di Torino. GPS allows the optimization of TOMO, VMAT, IMRT, SBRT and SRS plans.

In the TPS we provide a plan evaluation algorithm which uses customizable protocols for each body site. The output is a quantitative evaluation for the plans.

GPS 3.0

Using morphological and dosimetric information, GPS 3.0 optimizes the resolution of the multiparametric problem, with the aim of converging to a solution that maximizes target coverage by minimizing the dose to organs at risk with a step by step process.

This kind of algorithm allows the treatment plans to converge into a single solution for the individual patient with reduced computational times.

To meet specific clinical requests, for example less target coverage aimed at preserving a specific organ at risk, the obtained treatment plans can be manually customized in a simple and intuitive way.

GPS 4.0

GPS 4.0 introduces the concept of personalized treatment plans with the automatic generation of an ideal dose distribution for each patient. This dose will be the starting point of the optimization algorithm, in this way the convergence to the optimal solution is faster.

The ideal dose is generated using an algorithm that allows an optimal coverage of the target, the dose fall-off is computed using morphological and quantitative imaging information.

GPS 4.0 allows obtaining a greater personalization of the treatment, further reducing computational times.

This solution does not require additional HW.
