BodyCompTA – Body composition

In recent years, the study of body composition has acquired increasing interest both in terms of the role of the muscular system on the patient’s mobility and fracture risk, and in terms of the distribution of adipose tissue in specific pathologies or as a result of particular pharmacological treatments.

Tecnologie Avanzate collaborates with important research centers to improve the interpretation of data deriving from body composition (not only densitometry) and to use them in order to obtain new information on the loads applied to specific bone segments.

The primary objective of the project is to include special interpretative tools within the diagnostic devices currently available to the doctor.
