PET images contouring

We supported a multicenter study [Brambilla et al., CMMM ID 571473, 2015] to evaluate the robustness and reliability of a 2D semi-automated segmentation algorithm on adaptive threshold PET images for BTV estimation, developed by a center of Italian research [Brambilla et al., Med. Phys. 35 (4), 1207-1213, 2008] very active in the field of nuclear medicine and radiotherapy.

In collaboration with the center we have developed a 3D version of the algorithm, which has been implemented in the iTA Data application usable in standard DICOM RT formats.
